Barbeque

 

The South's greatest contribution to the United States (other than my own dear bride) is obviously barbeque. There are several regional variations, all of which are good. I classify them according to sauce types: 1) Kansas City Style - a thick, sweet sauce, 2) Tennessee style - Thinner sauce, with more vinegar and pepper, 3) Mustard based. Some cities have an abundance of good BBQ restaurants, others have only a few. I don't know the reason why. Some franchises are fairly good, Including KC Masterpiece and Bandana's.
