THE INNOVATORS
Advent was started by Henry Kloss, who founded many innovative companies (AR and KLH before Advent, and Cambridge Soundworks after). Advent hired Tom Holman in the early 70s, who later became a great innovator in his own right. After leaving Advent, Tom started APT corporation, and went on to start THX and become an innovator in surround sound. Andy Petite also worked at Advent. He went on to start Boston Acoustics.
